individuals committed to improving the well-being of children and families. Through shared
resources and a coordinated service delivery system, Council works with parents to empower
families to reach their potential in a strong community environment.

Mission

The Holmes County FCFC is a network of organizations and individuals that promotes safe, healthy and stable children and families.  This is accomplished by communication and facilitating service coordination, setting services priorities and sharing organizational resources.

Help Me Grow is a voluntary and free home visiting program for families who are expecting a baby or who have a child from birth to age three. It is available to all families, regardless of income and incorporates newborn visiting, ongoing home visits as determined by family needs, and services to children at-risk of or with a developmental delay or disability.

School based individual and group counseling, intervention and prevention activities.
An alternative education classroom which is housed at Project STAY and incorporated into the Holmes County school system. The goal of the program is to encourage and support students to achieve success while they are working toward their high school diploma.

The Comprehensive Wayne-Holmes Re-Entry Coalition
The Comprehensive Wayne-Holmes Re-Entry Coalition was developed to identify policy and practices to serve the re-entry needs of juveniles and adults with children under the age of eighteen. Coalition participants include Council members and representatives from housing, transportation and faith-base communities.
